6.0  Mission

The mission of the Communication and Information System at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications is to cultivate high-quality engineering talents with the ability of writing academic paper and communicating. The program will provide information, techniques and tools for graduates in their careers to effectively manage technology & people, and research based opportunities to prepare students for further education and self-development over an entire career. The program will also develop the awareness, background, and skills necessary for graduates to become responsible citizens, employees, and leaders.

7.0  Objectives

Graduates of the Communication and Information System program are able to:

• Systematically and effectively analyse, design, develop and resolve communication engineering applications by using professional knowledge and modern techniques;

•   Successfully carry on such jobs in the information and communication field as scientific research, teaching, project design, technique management;

•  Sensitively know updates and advances in related field.

8.0 Application Prerequisites:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and senior high school diploma, above the age of 18 and under the age of 25, in good health.

9.0 When to Apply:

Fall Semester Admission: Online application starts from Jan 1st every year

10.0 How to apply

Applicants should apply online. When you apply online (http://cqupt.17gz.org/member/login.do) the following documents should be provided at the same time:

•  Diploma, Degree Certificate and school transcripts (copies or notarized statement in English)

• one recommendation letter

• One photocopy of the valid passport

Applicant who meets the admission requirements will receive the Admission Notice issued by CUPT and a Visa Application Form (JW202) issued by National Education Ministry of the P.R. China. The applicant goes to the nearest Chinese Embassy for an entry visa(x) with the Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form (JW202).
