6.0  Mission

The mission of the Management Science and Engineering at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications is to cultivate the senior talents of management with distinguishing IT feature. The program will provide information and tools for graduates in their careers to ensure economic growth, environmentally responsible behavior, ethical decision-making, and research based opportunities to prepare students for further education as well. 

7.0  Objectives

Graduates of the MS Management Science and Engineering program are able to:

•   Effectively manage technology and people using modern tools and techniques;

•  Effectively develop and apply appropriate quantitative & qualitative analytical method, and modern information technology to resolve academic and practical problems;

•  Successfully communicate management requirements with their careers including running business, teaching, scientific research, etc. 

8.0 Application Prerequisites:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and Bachelor degree above the age of 18 and under the age of 35, in good health.

9.0 When to Apply:

Fall Semester Admission: Online application starts from Jan 1st every year

10.0 How to apply

Applicants should apply online. When you apply online (http://cqupt.17gz.org/member/login.do) the following documents should be provided at the same time:

• Diploma, Degree Certificate and school transcripts (copies or notarized statement in English)

•  Two recommendation letters from two experts (with a title of associate professor or above) for the Masters degree programs

• One photocopy of the valid passport

Applicant who meets the admission requirements will receive the Admission Notice issued by CUPT and a Visa Application Form (JW202) issued by National Education Ministry of the P.R. China. The applicant goes to the nearest Chinese Embassy for an entry visa(x) with the Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form (JW202).
